Hanger
Hanger, the hilt of the hanger consists of a gilt shell guard and a gilt knuckle guard. The shell guard is stamped with a marine device. The hanger has a cap-shaped pommel, which is embossed with the busts of King William and Queen Mary. The steel blade is broad and curved. The blade is stamped on both sides with a depiction of a crown and a bearded man's head. The scabbard is missing. The hanger is part of the Spinney Collection, which is made up of sixteen swords, five dirks and three pistols.
