Cutlass

Cutlass, the hilt of the cutlass consists of a black steel double-disc shaped guard. The guard has two holes and is engraved with two broad arrow motifs and two cross motifs. The cast iron grip is grooved. The steel blade is straight and flat. The obverse of the blade is engraved with the letters 'GR' and a crown motif above the number '8'. The reverse of the blade is engraved with the word 'Osborn', which is faint.
