Small exhibition model, scale about 1/6 linear, of Huygens marine clock

Small exhibition model, scale about 1/6 linear, of Huygens marine clock, with a glazed cover and text label within, made by Gould in 1933. It is uncertain for what specific reason Gould made this model, but it may have been partly for illustrating a lecture he gave, entitled 'The First Practical Marine Timekeeper' to the British Horological Institute on 8 February that year.
