Liquid compass

Card: An enamelled metal band 0.75" wide attached to the outer pair of needles by wire struts. The card is white with black markings graduated to quarter points and quadrantally in degrees.

Needle: The four needles are in two sets of two. The smaller set are rods enclosed in tubes. The larger set are flat bar magnets encased in a metal cover, this set goes through the float. Length 2 x 5" (12.6 cm), 2 x 7" (17.8 cm) x 0.6" (1.8 cm)

Pivot: The pivot is incorporated into the domed float and can be removed by a screw on the top.
