Liquid compass

Card: A mica band 1.5" wide attached to the needles by a wire framework. The card is white with black markings graduated to quarter points and 0 - 360 in degrees

Needle: The four needles, in two pairs, are each held in metal tubes. One pair go through the dome and the other pair is attached by wire. Length 4" & 5.25" (10.2 cm & 13.4 cm)

Pivot: The pivot cap is incorporated into the domed float and the jewel can be removed by a screw on the top of the dome. The dome is dented.
