Liquid compass

Card: An aluminium card which incorporates a domed float. The card is marked by both the eight points and the 360 degree markings being punched out. There are also four other holes punched out.

Needle: The four needles, in two pairs, are each held in metal tubes and are all attached to the domed float by metal brackets. Length 2.5" (6.4 cm) & 3.4" (8.6 cm)

Pivot: The pivot cap is incorporated into the domed float and the jewel can be replaced by a screw on the top of the dome.
