Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the inboard profile, with alterations dated 1817, for cutting down (razee) Elephant (1786), a 74-gun Third Rate, two-decker, to a 58-gun Fourth Rate Frigate. The plan shows the original outline when Elephant was a 74-gun ship. The 1817 alterations occured after a visit to Portsmouth Dockyard by Robert Seppings.
