Compass card

Card for a liquid compass.

A card designed by Capt. Creak R.N. for Torpedo Boat Compasses.

Card: A mica card attached to the needles. The card is white with black markings graduated to quarter points and quadrantally in degrees.

Needle: Two edge bar nedles attached to the card and to the float. length 4" (10.2 cm x 0.75" (2 cm)

Pivot: The pivot is incorporated into the domed float and the jewel can be removed by a screw on top of the dome.

O.A. height 2.25" (5.6 cm)
