Medway (1755); York (1753)
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan, sheer lines with some inboard detail, and longitudinal half-breadth for Medway (1755) and York (1753), both 60-gun Fourth Rate, two-deckers building at Deptford and Plymouth respectively. The Surveyor (Sir Joseph Allin) proposed to lower the main and fore channels eight inches in July 1754 for the Medway, and a copy was sent to Thomas Slade, Master Shipwright at Deptford.
