Phoenix (1759)
Scale: 1:48. Body plan, sheer lines and longitudinal half-breadth for building Phoenix (1759), a 44-gun, Fifth Rate, two-decker. An annotation reads: "This is a copy of the draught approved of by the the (sic) right honourable LC of the Admiralty for building a 44 gun ship that every timber in this is laid down in order to show which is intended for frames as distinguished in Red - and from this draught is made a copy and sent to members John and Robert Batson for building a 44 gun ship by it accordingly as per contract 7th Feb 1758."
On the reverse is the annotation: "Phoenix 44 Guns. Prince Edward made captain of her 14 June 1759."
