Cambrian (1797)
Scale: 1:48.Plans showing the body plan, sheer lines with modifications and longitudinal half-breadth proposed (and approved) for building Cambrian (1797) a 40-gun Fifth Rate frigate.
Signed by J.Henslowe and William Rule (Surveyors of the Navy).
Annotations on the plan read: "A copy was given to Mr Parsons of Bursledon 8th September 1795 for building the Cambrian [see ZAZ2309 for the referenced copy]" "A sketch was sent to Bursledon 6th April 1796 for adding the Bow Chase Port & [?] agreeable to the red ticked lines."
Annotation in pencil are mostly illegible but reference a half-block model [possibly SLR0592].
