Fisguard (captured 1797)
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan with sternboard outline, sheerlines with inboard detail and figurehead,and longitudinal half-breadth for Fisguard (1797, ex- La Résistance) a captured French frigate, as fitted at Plymouth Dockyard for a 38-gun Fifth Rate Frigate. The mizzen was moved aft sometime after the draught was drawn but the new location is marked and noted.
The frigate was captured as part of the Battle of Fishguard, often called 'the last invasion of Britain'.
