23ft Launch for HMS Texel (1799)
No scale. Plan showing the profile, rigging and sails, and section, and sheer legs for lowering a cannon onto the 23ft launch of the Texel (1799) a 64-gun Third Rate converted to a Floating Battery. The plan also shows a canted deck view illustrating the bipod masts in place with the gun mounted on the centreline slide. The plan was drawn by Lieutenant William Richardson, First Lieutenant of the Texel [Seniority: 7 February 1797].
