Austral (1881)
A 10x8 negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Austral (1881) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has short funnels and yards to her fore and main masts. A number of rowing skiffs are in the foreground and Tilbury is in the background.
