Commonwealth (1902)
A 12x10 negative. A port near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the single screw tug Commonwealth (1902) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. Her boat is on a painter astern. She is flying her name pennant and four crew members are on deck. Tilbury is in the background. The original glass plate negative has been broken and a 10x8 safety film copy negative has been made from a 12x10 photographic print produced from the orgiinal negative before it was broken.
