Loodiana (1884)
A whole plate negative. A poor quality slightly distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Loodiana (1885) about to get under way in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has three yards on her foremast and her hull forward is stained with white. A tow line is running out from her bow. Tilbury Fort is in the background. Negatives numbers G1966, G1979 and G2005 were taken on the same occasion.
