Mombassa (1889)

A 12x10 negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the passenger/cargo liner Mombassa (1889) at anchor in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has an awning rigged ahead of the bridge and her paintwork is not in good condition. The "Ring" company screw tugs are alongside aft, the outboard one being the Britannia (1887). Tilbury is in the background.
