House flag, George Thompson & Co Ltd
The house flag of George Thompson & Co Ltd, London (Aberdeen Line). The flag is made of wool bunting, machine sewn with a linen hoist. A rope and wooden toggle is attached. There is a tear at the lower corner of the fly edge. The flag was was used by SS 'Salamis' 1899.
