Watch the three unique films produced by local volunteers aged 15-18 as part of this Summers Young Volunteers Film Project.

Our Young Volunteer Project is Funded by Charlton Athletic Community Trust and this summer was delivered in partnership with June Givanni Pan African Film Archives.

Using the themes of identity, migration and ethnicity as a starting point, the volunteers explored the museum’s collection, interviewed local people and reflected on their own personal stories.

Our team of 10 volunteers worked incredibly hard to direct, film and edit these three bold films which convey their views on these very important subjects.

Many of the volunteers had little experience in film and produced these inspiring films in just over a week, whilst also gaining their Bronze Arts Award.
