Evening talk and reception (open to the public): 6.30pm to 8.15pm

Free admission to both daytime and evening events for invited guests.

Inspired by the UKRI-AHRC funded Observatory Networks project in 2021-22, we are hosting a one-day in-person conference to catch up and reflect on current research relating to historic observatories.

We’re excited to invite you to join us for a focused discussion on topics such as:

  • Observatory people and places
  • Observatory technologies in transition
  • Observatory networks and influences
  • Observatories today: challenges and opportunities

A detailed programme is available here. A sandwich lunch and refreshments will be provided.

The conference will be followed by an evening lecture and drinks reception to celebrate the launch of two publications associated with the 350th anniversary of the Royal Observatory, Greenwich:
