Discover wool from both familiar and new perspectives at Cutty Sark after hours.

In partnership with the British Council, Cutty Sark Wool Evening explores wool’s role across British, Indian and international traditions, industries and creative practices, with short talks and conversations offering insight into its past, present and future.

The evening also shines a light on Cutty Sark's own remarkable history as a wool clipper, with mini talks on the main deck about the ship's connection to the wool trade.

There will be demonstrations from makers and industry experts, wool product displays and informal discussions with the wider wool community. A film screening, live music and a welcome drink add to the evening, with a paid bar available throughout.

Explore Cutty Sark after hours, before the event moves into the atmospheric Dry Dock. With a focus on craft, sustainable materials, agriculture and the circular economy, the evening offers an opportunity to meet others interested in wool and discover the people, ideas and practices shaping its future.

The Cutty Sark Wool Evening will feature Live music by London-based folk trio, The Beadling - @thebeadling
