Join Aicha McKenzie for an intimate sister circle and breathwork session created for women of colour seeking rest, healing and reconnection.
This nurturing gathering offers a sacred space to slow down, soften, and be held in community.
Through guided breathwork, reflection, and collective sharing, participants will be invited to connect with Aicha's healing practice as a form of embodied and spiritual grounding, supporting deeper connection to self and others.
Together, we will explore experiences of invisibility, exclusion and overexposure within the arts and creative sectors, while reclaiming authorship over our personal and creative narratives.

This session encourages participants to reimagine artistic and curatorial practice as acts of care, repair, and resistance.
The breathwork experience will support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and deep restoration, creating space for calm, healing and renewal.
Rooted in sisterhood and collective care, this circle offers an opportunity to surrender into a supportive environment where you can be seen, heard, affirmed, and held alongside others with shared lived experiences.
This event will take place in the Seminar Room of the National Maritime Museum.
