Join prize-winning historian Diana Preston, author of A First Rate Tragedy - Robert Falcon Scott and The Race For The South Pole, as she travels back in time to explore how Scott became involved in the quest for the South Pole and how his two epic Antarctic journeys unfolded.

Among the questions Diana will ask is whether Scott’s attempt to be first to the Pole was doomed to fail or whether he might have succeeded and, indeed, survived.
