A decent war : (the diaries of Sam Copp, RN 1916-1919)

Based on the diaries and other writings of Sam Copp (1898-1984) who served with the Royal Navy from 1916-1919 as a stoker in the Mediterranean and Black Seas. The diaries and supporting text tell of Copp's life stationed off Milos and also events at sea during the war including submarine attacks, air raids and sea-rescues.
