There is nothing to indicate the precise location of this washplace but a label above a junction box reads "No. 5 wash bowl rack supplied from DX A6 J8 D1". The Portsmouth Dockyard Negative Register lists this as "Communal bathroom".

Draught marks are next to the collar. The Supreme and her sister Stoic (1943) were to be used in experiments to determine safe diving depths for welded and riveted boats of the S Class. Looking forward and to starboard along the upper deck from the port side of the aft superstructure. Her midships superstructure is being rebuilt from scratch and work is well under way on the upper bridge. Her masts are surrounded by scaffolding.
