Small sailing craft in a rough sea
Medium includes bodycolour. A fine drawing but the attribution to Stanfield is probably wrong: the boats have a more spindly, lightweight quality of drawing than normal for him and the subject itself is a bit unusual. Edward Duncan might be a better area of enquiry, despite the lack of studio stamp.[PvdM7/07]
