View of Enkhuizen

A view of the round East India tower with a high roof and houses adjoining it. In the centre is a starboard quarter view of a kaag lying close inshore, with a small pier and States yacht beyond. There are two ships lying becalmed off shore in the right background.

This is an unsigned pencil and wash drawing by the Younger. According to Robinson it is compositional in character and possibly not by the Younger. It has been approximately dated by the watermark.
