To the left, a port bow view of a ship with flag at the main lying with her tree topsails shaking, and fore course loosed in the brails. To the right, viewed from little before the port beam, there is a ship with flag and pendant at the mizzen; and in the right background a ship with flag at the main and pendant at the mizzen. A large number of ships are in the distance.
