Dutch ships at anchor near the land

This rapid drawing shows in the left foreground a starboard quarter view of a ship at anchor and flying a pennant from the mizzen mast. In the centre there is a pink under sail, and on the extreme right, another ship and a States yacht at anchor, and two vessels under sail. In the centre distance there is a tower which might be Brandaris on the island of Terschelling.
The drawing has a false signature of the Younger van de Velde, Willem van den Velde 1666. Countermark HIS.
