Two English ships before the wind

A rapid drawing showing on the left a near starboard broadside view of a ship before the wind with her fore course. Fore and mizzen topsails set and her main topsail lowered on the cap. There is another ship on her port bow.

This is and unsigned pencil and wash drawing by the Younger. It is inscribed ‘?sere’ and with a ‘W’ indicating the direction of the wind.
