On the right is the Cat (‘De Kat’) in port bow view accompanied by two small boats that appear to be carrying cargo. According to the inscriptions below the image, both are traders, the former to the Mediterranean, and the latter to France. In the distance are various other ships on the horizon. Clumps of cross-hatched clouds can be seen at the top of the image.
