H.M.S. Britannia entering Devonport Harbour

Hand-coloured lithograph print, from a painting by Hornbrook, one of a pair from the Caird Collection. The print shows the Britannia (1820) entering Devonport. Another state of this print in the NMM collection has a long inscription dedicating it to the Earl of Northesk. The Britannia, broken up in 1825, had been Northesk's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar.
