Oruba (1889)
        
        A quarter plate negative.  A copy of a painting of the passenger/cargo liner Oruba (1889).  She is depicted from off the starboard beam while under way in a rough sea.  She is shown with four masts and short funnels between 1889 and 1891.  The date 3 March 1891 is scratched on the reverse of negative number G9.  A Gould copy of a Gould photographic print produced from 12x10 negative number G9.
