A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. In the gyro compass room between 47 and 49 stations on 3 deck. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from the port aft corner. On the left are a gyro compass transmission unit, control cabinet, transformer power isolation box and two master units with junction box No. 5 above. On the right 0f the corner is a spark suppression unit at the top, a junction box in the centre and the small retransmission A unit at the bottom. A larger retransmission unit is on the right with a control panel below it andon the extreme right at high level is the small transmission B unit. A vertical format negative.
