A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. In the conversion machinery room on the starboard side of 4 deck between 45 and 48 stations. The photographer is looking aft on the port side of the compartment showing a large motor generator and one much smaller motor on the deck with shelving on the left. A range of voltage regulator, choke and filter units are on the port bulkhead on the right and a transformer and two fuse panels are on the aft bulkhead in the background. A vertical format negative.
