A 35mm roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. In the T.A.S. store and directing gear compartment on 4 deck between 16 and 27 stations. The photographer is looking to starboard from the port forward corner of the compartment. On bulkhead 16 are a demolition cupboard and three detonator lockers. A locker containing radio active material is under the demolition cupboard. A blank cover is stowed against the starboard side of the ship with a pump starter box above it. In the right foregroundt is the starter motor for hull outfit No. 15, type 170 sonar. A vertical format negative.
