A port side view of the Cunard Line cruise ship Carinthia (1925) under way passing the Cunard Line cruise ship Lancastria (1922) on a reciprocal course, possibly in Norwegian waters.
A middle distance port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Carinthia (1925) under way passing the Cunard Line cruise ship Lancastria (1922) on a reciprocal course, possibly in Norwegian waters. The Carinthia has a black hull with white upperworks. She had an all-white livery from 1932 to 1939. The photographer is on the port side aft of the boat deck on board the Lancastria (1922), looking forward and to port showing a number of the passengers lining the ship's rail to watch the passing Carinthia.
