A roll film negative. On board the Tribal class type 81 frigate Mohawk (1962) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She was in a dry dock from 21 March to 11 April 1972 when she moved to the South Railway Jetty. In the crew's mess between 78 and 85 stations on 2 deck. The photographer is just to port of the centre line of the mess at 81 station looking forward and to starboard. Two electric irons are on the end of a stack of lockers in the left foreground and a daily orders notice board is fixed to end of the lockers next to them. More lockers and a triple tier bunk unit are forward of the stairs leading up to 1 deck. An automatic emergency lantern is to the right of the stairs. A vertical format negative.
