Her Majesty's Steam Vessel Terrible (the largest War Steamer in the World)
This vignette depicts the paddle frigate HMS Terrible at sea. Her four funnels, two with smoke pouring out, are clearly visible on the upper deck. A human figure is discernable next to the second funnel from the right, and other figures are on deck near the bow of the ship; the artist possibly included them to provide a sense of scale. Faint outlines of gunports are visible on the ship's facing starboard side.
