Hand-coloured.; Plate 38. The Royal West Indian Mail Steamer 'Orinoco', 2250 tons, leaving Southampton with troops for the Crimean War. The ship was new, having been built by Pitcher's of Northfleet on the Thames in 1852. The 300-HP engibes were provided by Maudslay, Sons and Field.
