A port side view taken from abaft the beam, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Duchess of Atholl (1928) at anchor off Bathurst, Gambia. Her starboard anchor is deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged at a shell door aft and a boat is alongside it. Lifeboats 16 and 18 are missing from their davits. The negative is slightly out of focus. Negatives numbers P83596 to P83598 and P83637 and P83638 were taken on the same occasion.
