A distant port side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Empress of Australia (1914) anchored off Istanbul, Turkey. She is dressed overall and has an accommodation ladder rigged to her midship shell doors. She has the Blue Peter hoisted on a halyard suspended from a line between the foremast and the forward funnel. The western end of Istanbul is in the background. The negative is slightly out of focus. Negative number P83682 was taken on the same occasion.
