A port bow view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Empress of Australia (1914) at anchor off Palma de Mallorca. her starboard anchor is deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged at a shell door port side amidships. lifeboat number 20 has been launched and lifeboats 18 and 22 are swung out in the their davits. One of her lifeboats is alongside the accommodation ladder.
