A preliminary sketch version of the same point at start of the battle as shown in more detail in PAD8783, inscribed by Pocock 'Birds eye View of the Manner of Bringing the Fleet into Action'. Exhibited: NMM Pocock exhib. (1975), no. 78, but mistakenly identified there as showing the start of the Battle of the Nile.
