On board the Polish destroyer Blyskawica (1936) moored on Greenwich Tier, River Thames, London. The photographer is on the iron deck looking forward at the twin 37mm gun support abaft the funnel showing the ship's bell and dedication plaque fixed to the aft side of the support. Liferings 7 and 8 with the ship's pendant number 271 on them are hanging on the gun support guardrails.
