Trinity House Yacht 'Irene'
Medium includes graphite. The yacht is flying the jack of Trinity House jack from the jack-staff, its flag at the mainmast and its ensign from the the stern. 'Irene' had led Queen Victoria’s squadron at the 1897 Diamond Jubilee review of the fleet at Spithead: the vessel was sunk by a mine in the Thames estuary during the First World War.
