The stern decoration is a the Royal coat of arms surrounded by the Order of the Garter motto ‘Honi soit qui mal y pense’. The supporters are a lion (left) and a unicorn (right). Below in the supporting ribbon is the motto ‘Dieu et mon droit’.
The starboard bow carve work is the Royal coat of Arms within a curved shield under the bowsprit. The supporter is a lion standing on a ribbon that says ‘Dieu et mon droit’. To the left of the lion are flowers. The whole thing is enclosed by curved scrollwork and the ribbon.
This carve work has been drawn in pencil on tracing paper.
