Proposed 221ft patrol and minelaying submarine (not built)

Scale 1:48. Plan shows the constructional sections of a proposed 221ft Patrol and Minelaying submarine (not built). The drawing shows the sections situated at the Number 2 Auxiliary Tank, After crew space, Motor Room, Engine Room, Centre of Conning Tower, Forward Battery Compartment, the Torpedo Stowage Compartment and the Torpedo Tube Compartment. This plan bears the signature of Sir Stanley Vernon Goodall [Director of Naval Construction 1936-1944]. This submarine appears to have been a derivative of the S-class submarines, but there is no evidence to suggest this was built or even ordered.
