Scale 1:192. Plan shows sections of proposed 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000 and 7000 tons Iron cased frigates. The drawing shows these section in comparison to the sections of the Warrior class broadside frigate Warrior (1860), the Defence class broadside ironclad Resistance (1861), the Hector class broadside ironclads Valiant (1861) and the floating battery Erebus (1856). The title of the plan is "Sections of Proposed Iron Cased Frigates of 7000, 6000, 5000, 4000, 3000, 2000 tons, compared to Warrior, Valiant, Resistance, and Erebus". There is a large tear on the right hand edge.
