James Watt (1853)
Scale 1:192. Plan shows the sketch of sails for the Agamemnon class second rate steam ship of the line James Watt (1853). A note on the drawing states that copies of this plan were sent to the naval dockyards building the rest of the Agamemnon class. A copy was sent to Plymouth dockyard for the building of James Watt dated 5 April 1853, Portsmouth Dockyard on 10 August 1855 for the building of Repulse (1855), Sheerness Dockyard on 25 November 1858 for the building of Edgar (1858) and Portsmouth Dockyard dated 12 February 1863 for Agamemnon (1852) and Victor Emanuel [ex-Repulse] (1855).
